Rain and snow has plagued Cape Cod for the last three weeks. There have been several instances where the air was clear of precipitation, however, the majority of the time it has been wet. Winter on Cape Cod can be rather whelming; it is constantly hovering around 32 farenheight, grey, 20-30 knots of wind on any given day, and wet. Now, at least three days a week there is a break in the weather and the sun is brought back into existence. This has not been the case, which means any form of traveling outdoors is horrible. The car's floor is perpetually wet, making it smell, cycling is not possible as the temperature, wind, and weather equate to a miserable time spent pedaling against all of these, at full force. Reading, on the other hand, can be enjoyed thoroughly, except it causes a large strain on the eyes. I found this out quickly and had to put a cap on that. The precipitation has subsided, the clouds began parting and I checked the
NOAA weather report, two words, Hell Yeah! It looks as though the cycle has been broken for the next several days, but I am confident that it is only to be the calm before the true rainy season of a Cape Cod spring, at least the air will be warmer.
I'm just hoping it stops doing this...
...And starts looking more like that.
